School-based Mental Health Initiative
Hudson Guild provides a range of preventive and mental health treatment services at New York State Office of Mental Health (NYS OMH) licensed satellite sites: James Baldwin High School and William McKinley School (P.S. 63). Funded in part by the New York City Department of Education (NYC DOE), these services include psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and individual/group counseling, in addition to topic-oriented workshops addressing conflict resolution, bullying, friendship, teacher education, parenting skills and related topics. Customized programs are also offered, which help students develop the social and emotional skills that are a foundation for personal and academic success.
