Hudson Guild and POWER-UP recognized by New York State Senate
Congratulations to all of our teens and staff members participating in POWER-UP!
On May 16, New York State Senate passed a legislative resolution commending Hudson Guild and our POWER-UP program. Sponsored by Senator Tom Duane, the resolution acknowledges the achievement of POWER-UP youth workers and graduates who will be honored in our upcoming recognition ceremony for collectively completing over 3,000 internship hours in 2012.

Hudson Guild partners with Artists & Audiences Exchange for Teen Art Workshops
Hudson Guild is proud to partner with Artists & Audiences Exchange, a New York Foundation for the Arts program that brings NYFA Artists’ Fellowship recipients into local communities throughout New York State to produce high quality arts programming.
This workshop will provide teen students at Hudson Guild with an opportunity to explore methods of self-expression. NYFA Fellow Kirsten Nash will lead a class of Hudson Guild GED students to explore imagery and ideas of memory, abstraction, and everyday experience using monotype printing.
Kirsten Nash is a New York based artist and 2011 Fellowship recipient from the New York Foundation for the Arts in Printmaking/Drawing/Book Arts, and has had numerous exhibitions of her astounding work held across the United States. 50-Plus from NY Office of CB Richard Ellis Help Upgrade Hudson Guild Fulton Center
More than 50 CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) volunteers from across the firm's New York Tri-State offices joined nonprofit Rebuilding Together's New York City affiliate on Friday, September 23, to refurbish Hudson Guild community center's Fulton Senior Center, located at 119 Ninth Avenue in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood.
